The story of OWA Colors is, above all, the story of 2 brothers, Krikor and Sévag, and their whole team. Over the years, they've developed an approach to hairdressing that is both professional and human, based on listening, understanding and the satisfaction of clients and team members alike, all in good spirits!
It all began in 2005, in a small salon in Juan-les-Pins where Krikor worked. He decided to buy it and bring his brother on board for the "Oxygène" adventure. Sévag, the cutter, came from the Jean Louis David and Jacques Dessange houses; Krikor is a colourist. From the start, they often did a three-way diagnosis with their clients: it was their first hallmark.
A few years later, this "little corridor" became a large, beautiful 90 m² salon and the team grew. Then in 2011, a second salon opened in Cagnes-sur-Mer. When, in 2021, fate put another salon in their path, the third one was born in Saint-Laurent-du-Var!
It's this drive that has spurred the two brothers on for so many years, leading them to open several salons and bring a whole team together. Even so, there was no question of stopping there; something was still missing… the desire to go further, to develop this idea, to grow it with them and even beyond the salons.
In 2017, Sévag took on a new challenge and reinvented his concept with an aim that was both simple and bold! Finally, after 4 years of work, the new concept was here: finding THE hairstyle that suits each client thanks to the Morpho-Conseil consultation. New life, new name!
The OWA Colors adventure was born!
So that the whole team can carry out this consultation to the same high standard, Sévag created Idélia, a digital consultation tool. It has been tested and improved in our three salons, with more than 4,500 consultations carried out. The tool helps prepare the conversation; it's always your hairdresser who advises you and decides with you.
In 2025, Idélia won the Grand Prix de l'Innovation, Digital category, at the MCB by Beauté Sélection show in Paris.
