A treatment that adapts to you
Your question
Your hair is damaged by colouring, the sun or smoothing treatments, and a quick treatment is no longer enough: a deep treatment takes the time to nourish it.
What you discover in the consultation
- The condition of your scalp: healthy, oily, dry, sensitive…
- The condition of your hair fibre: dry, brittle, split, dull… and how severe the damage is.
- What is damaging it: past colours, washing, heated styling tools, sun.
- Your three priorities, chosen with your hairdresser.
- The right treatment in the salon: never two treatments that work against each other.
- Your hairdresser's advice for looking after your hair at home: products and techniques.
The result
Nourished hair that is softer and easier to style, with the deep treatment suited to its condition.

Genoma or Ybéra deep treatment: which one should you choose?
After the summer, the sun or colour techniques, your hair sometimes needs an in-depth treatment. The salon offers two, each for a different need. A treatment improves the look, softness and manageability of your hair; it does not replace cutting off very damaged sections.
Genoma, for very damaged hair
Designed for chemically treated hair (bleaching, perms, relaxing): very damaged, stretchy, with a "chewing-gum" effect. These techniques make the hair lose amino acids; Genoma gives them back, thanks to a blend of lactic acid, amino acids, soy proteins, spirulina and keratin. It is applied cold, with no straightening iron.
When should you have a Genoma?
One week before a chemical technique, to prepare and strengthen your hair, or just after a colour or bleaching, to strengthen it straight away.
Ybéra deep treatment, for fine and sensitised hair
It coats the fibre, makes it softer and easier to style and limits breakage: ideal for fine, sensitised hair or hair lacking volume. It makes styling easier without relaxing your curls, and your blow-dry lasts longer.
Both, one after the other
If your hair is both very damaged and fine: first a Genoma to strengthen it, then an Ybéra deep treatment to coat it and restore volume. Your hairdresser tells you whether this is useful for you.
Aftercare and follow-up
She also gives you a simple routine to follow at home to keep the benefits of the treatment.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a deep treatment take?
Between 2 h and 2 h 45, depending on the treatment and the length of your hair.
How long do the effects last?
For the Ybéra deep treatment, the brand states 3 to 5 months, provided you use its aftercare range at home. For Genoma, it depends on your hair and your routine: your hairdresser tells you in the salon how long to expect and when to repeat the treatment.
Genoma or Ybéra treatment: how do you choose?
Genoma if your hair is very damaged by chemical techniques; the Ybéra deep treatment if it is fine, sensitised or lacking volume. Your hairdresser guides you during the diagnosis.
Does the treatment repair my hair permanently?
No: a treatment nourishes your hair and improves how it looks, but it does not replace cutting off very damaged sections. Your hairdresser explains what you can expect from it.
