OWA Colors

Privacy policy

In short

The OWA Colors website does not ask you to create an account, has no form of its own and shows no advertising. It sets no advertising cookies: that's why there is no cookie banner. The only exception is Planity's booking module, explained below. This page explains what is used, why, on what basis, and how to exercise your rights.

Who is responsible for your data

Erevan, the company that publishes this website (full details in the legal notice). For any question about your data: owacolorsofficiel@gmail.com

Visit statistics

To know which pages are read and how many people click “Book”, the website uses Matomo, a statistics tool installed with our host Infomaniak, in Switzerland.

  • We have set it up following the CNIL conditions for visit statistics: no cookies, shortened IP address (part of it is deleted, which makes it very difficult to link a visit to a person), data never shared or combined with other data.
  • Statistics are deleted after 25 months.
  • They are used only to improve the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used.

You can refuse to be counted by ticking this box:

What the website keeps on your device

To save you from making your choices again, the website keeps on your phone or computer (and nowhere else): the salon you chose, your hair length if you entered it, and your refusal of statistics if you ticked it. None of this is sent to us. These choices are only used to make what you asked for work. You can delete them at any time by clearing the website's data in your browser.

Booking appointments

Appointments are booked with Planity. On our “Book” pages, Planity's booking module is shown directly in the page. Everything you do in it (choosing a service, creating your account, booking, paying or giving a gift voucher) is sent to Planity, which records your appointment for the salon. To work, this module also keeps some technical information on your device. Planity has its own privacy policy, which you will find on its website.

YouTube videos

YouTube videos only load if you click the play button. At that point, the video comes from YouTube (Google), which may then record information under its own rules. As long as you don't click, nothing is loaded from YouTube.

The typeface

The website's headings use the Dual typeface, bought from MyFonts. Its licence requires us to count page views: after each page is displayed, your browser sends a simple request to MyFonts (Monotype, in the United States), which then sees your IP address and may set a technical security cookie. This counter is used only to check that we respect the licence. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in using our brand typeface while respecting its licence.

Links to other websites

The Instagram, Facebook, Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze buttons take you to those websites, which apply their own rules. Our website includes no share buttons and no trackers from these networks.

When you write to us

If you send us an email, it arrives in our Gmail inbox (Google). We use your message and your contact details only to reply to you.

  • Question or request: we keep your message for as long as it takes to reply, then for no more than 3 years after our last exchange (in case you get back to us on the same subject). Legal basis: answering your request.
  • Job application: we use it only to consider your application. If it is not successful, we tell you and keep it for no more than 2 years after our last contact, so that we can offer you another position; you can ask us to delete it sooner. Legal basis: considering your application, at your request.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data concerning you, to object to its use, to restrict its use (for example while an error is checked) or, for what you sent us, to receive a copy of it. Write to us at owacolorsofficiel@gmail.com. If you think your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
